SITTING BY MY WINDOW

As I sit by my window
Look out at the sky
Realize how lucky I am
To have a bed my side
To have my dad and my mom
To know jerry and tom

Then I look at the others
My less fortunate brothers
Who don’t know when they`ll have their next meal
We can never imagine how they feel
No we`re too busy with our lives
Too much on our minds
Can`t take a second to care
And that just ain`t fair!

No one`s life is ever the same
Everyone has to play a different game
A different obstacle, a different thorn
One thing I’ll guarantee, you`ll be torn
But we have to do it, no other choice
“Never give up”; I say with my voice
Just stay strong
Nothing in life is ever wrong
Everything that’s thrown at you
Can be handled by only you
Believe me, it`s meant only for you
